Hand made bullroarers carved  from Walnut or Oak.

Bullroarers have been used the world over for centuries. As musical instruments or for protection, communication with the living or afterlife, ceremonial purposes or to ward off evil spirits.

The oldest recorded bullroarer was found in the Ukraine and made from bone, dating back to around 18,000 BC.

When spun either horizontaly or vertically, they give out a low, vibrational, roaring sound that can allegedly be heard for miles on a quiet day.
