Beautifully hand-carved Elder Futhark Runes risted in Hawthorn wood from the beautiful Scottish borders.

Elder Futhark Runes have been used since the early Viking era for divination and prophecy, galdr and seeking knowledge of Norse Magic and wisdom as Odin ‘The Allfather‘ sought for himself.

Elder Futhark Hawthorn Runes:

• Hawthorn wood attributes: The tree of the ‘Hidden Folk‘. The Beltane Tree. Faeries, Witches and Celtic Myths
• Material: Hawthorn Wood. 24 Runes
• Origin: Scotland. From wind fallen or tree management wood. No wood is ever deliberately cut for the sole purpose of making a set of Runes.
• Size: 2-3cm approx. Due to these runes being made by hand, no 2 sets of Hawthorn Runes will be the same.
