Check out this battle ready, Viking age spectacle helmet commonly seen in the 8th and 9th century. The two halves of the helmet are welded both internally and externally. The spectacle section is riveted to the helmet with the addition of brackets for strength. This fantastic piece of Viking history is based off of museum findings from the era.
