Carefully hand-carved wooden figurine of Norse god Vidar. Vidar is one of Odin’s sons and is said to be the strongest amongst the gods next to Thor. He is said to kill the giant wolf Fenrir at Ragnarok. Vidar carves himself a shoe from all the scraps of cobblers leather, to help him hold open the jaws of Fenrir during his battle and to help stop the wolf’s teeth from piercing his skin.

Vidar is the god of vengance.
