The Rookery Silver Birch mead is a sulphite free mead containing only honey, water and silver birch sap collected on the estate on which the Rookery sits. This mead is based on evidence from an archeological site, Machrie Moor, on the Isle of Arran.
It has a toasted malt, nutty flavour and is at it’s best when best served chilled.

The Rookery Wild Cherry mead is a popular beverage derived from hand-foraged, wild berries and honey. The cherries are handpicked, inspected and chosen for their quality from two different native cherry trees: Prunus Padus, the Bird Cherry tree and Prunus Avium commonly known as the Cherry Blossom tree.
The mead has a slight sweetness that is slightly overridden by the dryness of the wild cherries. Making this more akin to a light merlot wine with earthy, smokey under notes.
The Rookery Wild Cherry mead is a great alternative to wine and a great accompaniment to red meat or tomato based dishes.
