Valkyrie Viking Ship Urn 130cm

This Valkyrie Viking Ship Urn is the ideal way to give a loved one an epic Viking burial, as traditional as is legally allowed in the UK.

Made from sustainable wood and  finished to a very high standard, each ship comes complete with shields, a striped sail and steering oars, just like an original Drakkar ship would have had.

The ship also comes with a stand to hold it steady whilst on display.

This urn is ideal for a larger person or two sets of ashes to be sent to Valhalla together. It is impossible to judge the weight and volume of ash that will fit inside so please take care when placing the ashes inside the boat. Too much may cause the boat to sink too quickly, especially if there are waves or a swell. Filling a bath with water to place the boat in whilst filling it with the ashes, may help to measure this more accurately before placing on open waters.

The boat also has two pins in the hull which can be removed to adjust the length of time the boat will stay afloat. Alternatively, the boat could be buried in the ground, just like the famous Sutton Hoo burial.

Comes boxed with instructions. Minor assembly is required such as erecting the sail.
