The ‘˜Black Phillip’ mead from Apothecary Meads is a Bochet mead made from caramelised honey – giving it a wonderful bonfire, toffee taste.

One of our most popular meads from this range. This mead is fermented over Moroccan fig, orange zest and whole Madagascan vanilla pods. Then finished over a charred, oak bourbon whiskey barrel to give a deliciously, smoky finish.

The Black Phillip mead is versatile mead, just as flavoursome served either chilled or mulled.
