All our blowing horns are ethically sourced and also by-products of the food industry. Firstly, if they weren’t recreated as objects of beauty, they would be disposed of as trash. Secondly, by repurposing these horns — as was the way during the Viking Era and centuries before — it allows the beauty of the animal to live on. Finally, if treated correctly and maintained as advised these horns will last for a very long time.

Leather belt holders and shoulder straps are available to carry your blowing horn safely and to help avoid damage.

Caring and Cleaning Instructions:

• Wash the horn with warm water and a small amount of washing up liquid if required. 
• DO NOT place your horn in the dishwasher or leave it in hot water to soak as this will damage your horn beyond repair.
• The use of a baby bottle brush may be used gently to clean longer horns.
• Allow to air dry.
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
