This Celtic Iron Age Knife with forged pricker is inspired by archaeological finds dating from the La Tène period and combines two practical eating implements in one authentic-looking historical set.

Hand-forged from a single piece of carbon steel, the knife has a wonderfully rustic matt-black forged finish. The handle is wrapped in leather for a comfortable grip and finished with a simple ring at the end, reflecting the practical character of knives associated with the Celtic Iron Age.

Accompanying the knife is an elegantly twisted forged pricker, an early eating implement used before the fork became commonplace. Its decorative twisted handle and curled end complement the rugged appearance of the knife beautifully.

The knife is supplied well sharpened and comes complete with a brown leather sheath for safe storage and carrying.
