The Danish Hammered Thor’s Hammer is a pewter replica of an original Viking Age Mjölnir discovered by a metal detectorist in Denmark in 2012.

Dating to the 10th century and the reign of Harald Bluetooth, the original find provides a fascinating connection to Viking Age Denmark. Its simple hammered appearance gives the pendant an authentic historical character, quite different from more decorative modern Thor’s Hammer designs.

Mjölnir was the legendary hammer of Thor and Thor’s Hammer pendants were worn throughout the Viking world.

Cast in pewter in Scotland, this replica measures approximately 35mm x 36mm, weighs around 10g and is supplied ready to wear on black waxed cord.
