Northumberland Rosé Sparkling Mead

The Northumberland Rosé Sparkling Mead is a light rosé, crisp dry mead. Made from local wildflower honey, starting out life similarly to the Wildflower Sparkling Mead. With the addition of a specially formulated Northumberland Honey Co hibiscus flower dosage (the final stage of the Traditional Method).

Tasting Notes:

The wonderful light rosé colour gives intrigue reminiscent of a Northumberland sunset. Leading to a fruity, fresh feel and a smooth but dry finish.

Northumberland Rosé Sparkling Mead Food Pairing:

The sparkling mead, with it’s delicate bubbles and Champagne like style, goes very well as an aperitif. With small tasting plates/ tapas, also with savoury dishes or afternoon tea. It’s also been used to great effect for reception drinks and toasts at weddings, especially as the word honeymoon derives from mead.
