Öskuhús coffee beans are a small-batch, organic coffee blend, hand roasted to give you the best quality and care in every brew. With great attention to detail, this coffee is carefully selected and infused with hand picked ash tree to benefit your health with every sip.

With a rich chocolate and nutty taste and a slight fruitiness to the finish, every cup is sure to give a warmth akin to that of rum and raisin. With a creamy smooth texture the ash tree gives it a hint of earthiness, as expected from each Icelandic cup of coffee!

The benefits of the ash tree have long been known and used for generations for its beneficial healing qualities and great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Not to mention it being the greatest tree of all, Yggdrasil the mighty ash tree in Norse Mythology.

Available in a 225g compostable pouch, printed with eco ink making it completely biodegradable to benefit Jörð. Proceeds from each sale will go towards further research into tree management and replanting more new trees.

Öskuhús coffee is the brainchild of the wonderful Oddný Edwards. Born and raised in the stunning country of Iceland, Oddný loved to research the flora and fauna of the wonderful landscape around her.

She furthered her research in her mid teens by moving to Hawaii where she immersed herself in an organic flower and herb farm to further her knowledge. Later, she would return to the UK and set up the multi award winning eatery Öskubox.

After a time, Öskubox closed it’s doors when Öskuhús was born, to continue to keep the Viking flavours alive and kicking. Why let a lack of premises stop her from serving authentic Icelandic infused food and drink. The show must go áfram!
