This seated Freya figurine depicts the Norse goddess of sex, love, fertility, war, seidr and cats.
The goddess Freya, said to be the most beautiful of the Norse pantheon. Leader of the Valkyries, she is carried upon a golden chariot pulled by two large blue cats or rides upon her boar called Hildsvin or ‘Battle Boar‘.
She is a lover of beautiful things and wearer of Brisingamen, her golden necklace and wears her cloak of falcon feathers which enables her to shapeshift.
