9c replica of a Spanghelm helmet with aventail. Made from 4 parts of quality, 2mm thick steel, welded and riveted together to give it strength and good protection during reenactment. This helmet also features  flexible cheek guards and a butted chainmail aventail attached, to protect the nape of the neck and back of the skull and 3mm nasal bar. The liner is made from a good quality adjustable leather which can be padded further with the use of scrap material or wool for further comfort. The helmet can be further secured on the head with the attached quality leather chin strap with brass buckle.
