Torshov Viking Sword

This Torshov Viking Sword is based on a 9c find from southern Norway. Swords of this style were very popular during the Viking era.

The guard and pommel are made of heat-treated malleable cast iron by hand. The spring steel blade is forged to the hilt and peened with the pommel. The wooden grip is wrapped with leather cording. The edges of this blade are blunted and the tip is rounded for safety.

The sword comes with a leather covered wood scabbard with wooden belt loop suitable for belts up to 6cm width.
